Barton Sees Future At QPR

Former Manchester City and Newcastle United midfielder Joey Barton has said that he sees his future at QPR after managing to put behind his troubles with the club’s board. QPR were recently promoted back to the Premier league after just one season in the Championship. Barton was one of the key players in the campaign after managing to re-establish himself as one of the important players in the team. The player, who is often perceived as a troublemaker, was sent to French club Marseille on a season-long loan deal in the previous campaign.

Sabella Believes Argentina Should Have Won

The manager of the Argentina national football team, Alejandro Sabella, has said that his team was the deserving winner in the pre quarter final clash against Switzerland the other day.

Argentina was actually expected to run through the Switzerland side during that game, but, that didn’t happen.

The Swiss boys went out there with fantastic planning and they executed their plans in the best possible way to keep the dangerous attacking line of Argentina quiet for 90 minutes.

Barton Expects England To Beat Uruguay

QPR midfielder Joey Barton has claimed that he expects England to beat Uruguay in the second group match at the World Cup 2014. After losing the opening match against Italy, Roy Hodgson’s men will be under pressure to perform against Oscar Tabarez’ men. As with Italy, England will be coming up against a top striker in the form of Luis Suarez. In Italy match, Mario Balotelli proved to be Italy’s catalyst towards a victory. Hodgson’s men will be aware that this is a must win match otherwise they risk elimination from the group stages.

Barton Believes QPR Deserved Victory

Queens Park Rangers recently defeated Wigan Athletic as they locked horns and battled each other in the Championship semifinals and the team of Harry Redknapp came out on top with a scoreboard of 2-1.

Joey Barton believes that QPR deserved their victory as they now have to get ready for the finals against Derby County on May 24.

The 31-year-old told Sky Sports: ‘’we have had a lot of pointers about how hard it was going to be. Credit to Wigan they’re a very good side and its sad there has to be a loser but we roll on. Over the two legs I think we slightly shaded it’’.
